Our open-air studio is designed to provide novices and experienced artists with a relaxed and informal opportunity to reconnect with nature and explore the dynamic world of contemporary botanical painting.
Students will experiment with various styles of botanical art, including pastels, watercolor, ink painting, gouache, and acrylics. Drawing inspiration from various styles and cultures. Lauren will encourage each student to develop their own unique approach to botanical painting and illustration.
Individual development and creative expression will be at the core of the workshop - sharing ideas, techniques, and inspiration, while surrounded by the stunning sculpture and blooming plants around the museum gardens!
Students may register for a single class session. Email erica@ccmoa.org with the date you are attending. Or drop in that morning, we look forward to seeing you.
