The white-line print, also known as the Provincetown Print, originated in Provincetown, Massachusetts in 1915. In this two-day workshop with artist Peter Michael Martin, participants will learn the technique to create a white-line, multi-color print using watercolors from a singular carved woodblock in a small class setting. Students should bring at least two simple drawings influenced by the Cape area (or abstract welcome too) around 6” x 8” in size and a snack or lunch for 1/2-hour community time halfway through each session.
