About

Thursday, April 3, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, with Q/A.

Techspressionism introduces a new art historical term that distinguishes expressive fine art created with technology from such genres as “digital art,” which can include animated movies and video games. This artist generated movement embraces changing technologies in the creative process and communicates with each other via online salons, regional nodes, interviews, exhibitions, and writings. The program takes place concurrently online via Zoom and in person at the Cape Cod Museum of Art's D'Alessandro Auditorium. If you’d like to attend via Zoom, you can register for free online here.  To attend in person at the CCMoA register via the blue “Tickets” button. The event includes a historical overview of Techspressionism, presentations of Techspressionism exhibits and a Q & A session to meet the artists.
