Winter Break at CCMoA: Winter Wonderland Art Extravaganza with Jennifer Stratton, expressive and creative arts educator (Ages 6-10)

Winter is a magical time. Snow and the beautiful sky. Leaves are off the trees and animals have been scurrying about finding food and diving into hibernation. Join us for this fun art class where each day we will find a winter-themed project to express ourselves. Anything from creating a mini skating rink to puffy paint polar bears and 3D snowflakes. We will be using all kinds of art mediums to create reflections of winter.

• All students must be checked in and out by an accompanying adult 

• An emergency contact form is required – send to education@ccmoa.org prior to class or bring with you the first day

• Instructor is fully vaccinated

Covid Policy effective February 17, 2022: Masks are encouraged, but not mandatory. Vaccination cards are not required for indoor classes and events. Our Museum School classroom features a REME-HALO Ultra-violet air purification system and Hepa filter for everyone's safety.

Instructor:

Jennifer Stratton is a visual artist, musician, and expressive/creative arts facilitator. She lives in Hyannis with her husband.

Jennifer’s experience with the healing powers of expressive art developed into a strong desire to help others tune in to their own creative gifts. In 2009 she received her Certificate of Graduate Studies Program for the Professional Application of Expressive Arts for Healing, also at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

She works with organizations, groups, and individuals using expressive arts as a way for people to deepen their own self-discovery process, as a tool to deal with specific issues, and also to just have fun, learn about art and build community. Most recently she held the position of Art Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee. She is also a certified CTI trained Life Coach.
