In recognition of Women's History Month, CCMoA is featuring select artworks from the Permanent Collection created by women. The Cape Cod Museum of Art is proud to include 216 women artists in our Permanent Collection. This is significant because women have been historically underrepresented in museum collections throughout the world. We are taking this opportunity to celebrate the artistic merits of regionally significant women artists in the collection and, based on visitor feedback, to identify female artists who we may want to consider including in the Permanent Collection.
