Falmouth Art Center Juried Members' Exhibition

Exhibition Dates: November 5, 2020 - January 17, 2021

In the spirit of supporting artists and art institutions from all over Cape Cod, the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis invited the Falmouth Art Center to hold a Juried Members' Exhibition at the Museum. The Exhibition showcases and promotes participating artists and their artwork in two galleries at the CCMoA. Benton Jones, Director of Art at CCMoA is the juror.

Falmouth Art Center is a community art center, started as the Falmouth Artists Guild by a group of artists in 1965. They were looking for art instruction, exhibitions and collegiality, staying active with classes, exhibits and auctions. Their first headquarters was in the town-owned historic Poor House. In 2010, the organization built its own building on Gifford Street in Falmouth, renaming itself as the Falmouth Art Center. Today, the Falmouth Art Center has more than 700 members and holds than 150 classes and workshops annually. The building has three galleries—36 shows a year—featuring local artists in a range of mediums, plus art talks, films and meetups.
