Through Young Eyes
March 9 - May 8, 2022
Cape Cod Museum of Art and the Cape Cod & Islands Art Educators Association (CCIAEA)'s
19th annual Through Young Eyes exhibition featured the inspiring work of Cape Cod students in grades K-12.

This year's exhibition showcased the artwork of 90 students from 15 schools across Cape Cod. Twelve (12) of the participating teachers also had their work on display. Mediums included sculpture, painting, printmaking, collage, drawing, ceramics, fabric and mixed-media art.
Through Young Eyes gives young artists a forum to be recognized for their talent in the arts. There are many opportunities students to receive recognition and shine, especially in sports, but this exhibition is one of the few opportunities for Cape Cod youth to display their work in a museum setting, which may even encourage them to make a career in the arts. Some of the teachers involved in the exhibition this year have shown their work at CCMoA before when they were students!
The Cape Cod & Islands Art Educators Association (CCIAEA) also offers scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing an education in the visual arts. There was a Scholarship Ceremony and pop-up student exhibit on Thursday, May 19th at 4:30pm at the Museum.
