April 24 - May 4, 2025 7 Shows: Thursdays to Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm in the Cape Cod Museum of Art's D'Alessandro Auditorium Set in the Rare Reading Room of Yale's Beinecke Library, Portraiture follows an art historian leading a tour when she arrives at a gallery showcasing portraits of three legendary women - Gertrude Stein (painted by Francis Picabia), Alice B. Toklas (painted by Dora Maar), and Mabel Dodge Luhan (painted by Mary Foote). As she examines their lives and legacies, unexpected questions arise, and history proves to be anything but silent. |

Dreamscapes and Inner Worlds April 3- June 29, 2025 Juror: Joe Diggs Art that is informed by the unconscious, the mysterious and the taboo provides a glimpse into an artist’s creative core, revealing insights into one’s hidden self. When reason and logic are kept at bay, a magical inner world is revealed. Artists from across the USA and around the world were invited to submit their original artwork to the Cape Cod Museum of Art’s Annual International Juried Exhibition on the theme Dreamscapes and Inner Worlds. Out of 725 entries, 81 artworks were selected. Three awards will be presented during the April 11th reception. | | |

Through Young Eyes March 27 - May 18, 2025 Cape Cod Student Artwork Grades K-12 Through Young Eyes is presented in collaboration with the Cape Cod & Islands Art Educators Association (CCIAEA). This annual exhibition showcases the artwork of Cape Cod students in grades K-12 and their teachers. It also raises awareness of Youth Art Month, organized by the Massachusetts Art Education Association, celebrating the value of art education and art participation for all children in Massachusetts during the month of March. Techspressionism Artist Salon: "LIVE FROM CAPE COD!" Last Thursday, techspressionist artists Karen LaFleur and Renata Janiszewska (from our fall 2024 exhibition Mariniana) brought the monthly Techspressionism Artist Salon to CCMoA. The salon was also simulcast via zoom to members around the world. The salon included an informative and entertaining historical overview of Techspressionism was presented by Colin Goldberg (who coined the term Techspressionism in 2011).
